Hypnotherapy sessions with Emma

Welcome to Emma Victoria Hypnotherapy. Face to face hypnotherapy sessions are available in my garden therapy room, where I am based, in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

Situated in North Northamptonshire places me close to Stanwick, Wellingborough, Higham Ferrers and Rushden. I am also within easy reach of Thrapston, Bedford and Kimbolton.

Working online

Online sessions can easily be arranged through video call. Many people enjoy the convenience of this option because they don’t need to travel and can remain in the comfort of their own home.

Virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions.

Is hypnotherapy right for you?

A solution focused approach

If you have already explored types of therapy that tend to focus on the problem, you may find solution focused hypnotherapy refreshingly different.

As a solution focused hypnotherapist, I take a positive approach.

Many people I work with find it uplifting when they realise they don’t need to revisit the past or talk about the problem.

Instead, the onus is on you to concentrate on where you are in your life now, tap into thought processes and abilities that are useful and, ultimately, get you to where you want to be.

Before you book a session; I offer a no obligation initial consultation, giving you the opportunity to meet me and find out how hypnotherapy can help you.

Following on from this, you can decide if you would like to book some sessions.

Understanding our brain

Scientists now have a greater understanding of what is happening in our brains and this is always evolving. Neuroscience shows that we all have the potential to rewire our brains and change the way we think.

I draw on this knowledge and understanding to inform what I do as a hypnotherapist.

Reducing stress

Hypnotherapy can help reduce stress, which can facilitate positive and more useful ways of thinking.

Manage stress, feel calmer, take control of y our thoughts and be more confident in your ability to cope with life.

Often clients are pleasantly surprised to find that, as they change one aspect of their lives for the better, other aspects are also changing.

If you throw a pebble into a lake, it creates ripples. Likewise; one positive change can have a wonderful ripple effect and permeate into other areas of your life too.

Through hypnosis, it is possible to access our subconscious mind and this can make it easier to overcome unhelpful thoughts and associated behaviours.

Training and Qualifications

Studying for diplomas in solution focused hypnotherapy and working as a hypnotherapy practitioner has been enlightening .

I am a registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH), and I act in accordance with their code of conduct, performance and ethics.

Continuing professional development is something I undertake regularly and I am fully insured.

My background

After graduating with a Masters degree in English, I went on to study for a PGCE (postgraduate certificate in education) and worked for a while as a teacher.

Whilst living in Washington DC, I completed training and certification in Holistic Therapy.

Following on from this, I became increasingly curious about how the way we think impacts on our overall well-being and so I began my own exploration into hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
