A little bit about me

MY JOURNEY TO BECOMING A HYPNOTHERAPIST
Teaching in Northamptonshire
Based in Northamptonshire; I previously worked as a Primary School Teacher; specialising in Art. This has given me a wonderful grounding for working with children and getting creative!
Living and studying in America
Whilst living in the States, I studied Holistic Health at The Washington Institute of Natural Medicine, DC. I found this really interesting and useful. However, I was still curious about how the brain works and how the way we think affects our overall well-being.
How my experience of hypnosis motivated me to become a hypnotherapist
Also in America, I used hypnosis to help me stay calm and positive whilst undergoing IVF treatment. After my first cycle, I went on to have my daughter. I also used self-hypnosis to support me in achieving my goal of having a natural birth. It was an amazing and very positive experience, helping me to live the life I envisaged for myself. This really motivated me to become a hypnotherapist so I can help others do the same.
My work as a solution focused Hypnotherapist
I have found solution focused hypnotherapy to be particularly effective. This modern approach, backed by scientific evidence, is about confidently moving forward and getting your life back on track without the need to delve into the past.
It also draws on the latest neuroscience, satisfying my curiosity about how the brain works in relation to common issues like anxiety, depression and addictions and, most importantly, what we can do about it. It is as if we can unpack the brain and look at it within the therapeutic setting. This can be a very useful and enlightening experience.
Back in the UK
Living back in England, I studied at the esteemed Clifton Practice for Hypnotherapy Training Centre; approved by the National Council for Hypnotherapy. I qualified with a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma. I now work as a hypnotherapist in Northamptonshire.
Through learning and practising clinically proven techniques, I discovered how powerful and transformative hypnotherapy can be.
A Life changer
I am amazed at how solution focused hypnotherapy has helped me overcome many challenges. It helped me to believe in myself and feel more in control. I am now doing things I would never have thought possible.
The enduring benefits of hypnotherapy enable me to stay calm and confident about my ability to cope with life and enjoy the journey!
